Who we are looking for
Someone who can keep a cool head, has a flexible attitude, shows initiative and can set priorities. You are a Student AV-Hero who can think along in a solution-oriented way. We would like you to always look for quality and the optimal technical and practical solution to successfully complete the project. We would like to see an enthusiastic student technician who likes to make projects and rental processes run optimally with our user groups. You are willing to work at irregular times and on weekends. You make the difference to our team through your commitment and personality!
Who we are
Our theatre technicians are part of the Culture team. We are part of the Department of Sport and Culture, which is part of the Campus and Facility Management (CFM) department of the University of Twente. We strive to offer good solutions in the field of light, sound and audiovisual resources for all kinds of activities and projects within Culture (and sometimes also Sport) largely by, for and by students.
Our clients include the (16) cultural student associations, cultural coordination and Studium Generale. Students and staff also know how to findour expertise within the UT.
Our location is the Vrijhof building, centrally located on the boulevard. All cultural rooms are located here, but also, for example, the library, offices and the theatre café. Most of our work takes place here, but we have no problem with a trip to the other UT buildings and therefore also work on location.
What do we want to distinguish ourselves in?
Service, support and unburdening of the user. In addition, we like to work together with education and research and are there to train students as part of their Academic Training. Of course, the lamps, speakers and other materials we use must function properly. But where we think you will make the difference is in the field of mutual cooperation and technology. Thinking along, being accessible and being able to switch well last minute.
Type of employment: UT flex (on-call)
If interested, we would like to receive your CV and motivation before Sunday 5 December via firstname.lastname@example.org.
