The University will be closed during the Christmas holiday from Wednesday 25 December 2019 till Wednesday 1 January 2020 (except for the Bastille and Sportcentrum). During this period the heating and the light will be programmed to weekend mode in all buildings.
Different opening hours for buildings
On Tuesday December 24th all buildings will be closed at 16:00 hours, except Horst, Sports Centre, ITC, Bastille and Vrijhof. Click on the links below for the opening hours of the Sports Center and the Bastille during the Christmas holidays:

In week 2, all our locations are opened during the regular opening hours.

Designlab
DesignLab will close its doors from 23 December until 3 January 2020. In week 2, DesignLab opens according to the regular opening hours from 8.30 – 20.00.
Christmas trees
Tuesday morning 24 December before 09:00 hrs., all Christmas trees will be picked up and taken away. Please make sure you take down your decorations in time. Trees that have been placed at the main entrance of the building will be removed. If help is required, please contact the Service Desk who will be able to assist you if necessary.
Christmas lights
This being a festive season with illuminations and decorations, we would like to alert you to take necessary safety precautions with regard to Christmas lights. Please turn them off at the end of each day and remove the plug from the socket. Christmas lights are known to be a fire hazard, so please be on your guard!
Mail delivery
On December 24, mail can be delivered to the Service Desk of the building before 12:00. Click here for the regular postal rounds.
