Vis à Vis is a theatre company with an establishment in Almere, which is able to create a unique theatre spectacle. Light-hearted comedy, amazing spectacle and ingenious storylines. Enjoy a day out at the largest theatre spectacle of the Netherlands: MARE. A show full with special effects, visual comedy, live music and a look behind the scenes.
About MARE
A water basin filled with over 700,000 liters of water forms the backdrop for this unique open-air performance in Almere. Rising sea levels, caused by global warming, have flooded the entire earth. Cities are swallowed by the rising waters. The remains of civilization are a handful of people on small islands trying to survive in this apocalyptic world.

Program
12.00: departure from the parking lot behind the Vrijhof
14.00 - 14.30 hours: Arrival at Vis à Vis
14.40 - 14.45 hours: Taking place on tribune via group entrance
15.00 - 16.10 hours: Presentation MARE
16.10 - 16. 45 hours. Look behind the scenes and possibility to have a chat with a snack and a drink.
17.00: departure from the parking place at Vis à Vis. Around 7 pm we are back in the Vrijhof.
NB Ticket includes bus trip and entrance MARE and excluding consumptions.
Practical information
- Tickets are only available for students and members of staff association UT-Kring.
- Make sure you are on time and carry your ticket and student- or employee card with you.
- The show lasts about 1 hour and 10 minutes without a break.
- Visual spectacle. Language no problem.
- The grandstand is covered and consists of benches without a handrail.
- It is allowed to take your purchased refreshments to the stands.
If the theatre trip unexpectedly cannot go by for example not enough participants, we reserve the right to cancel it. You will receive notice of this no later than two weeks before departure and will of course receive your money back.
