What’s your interest and experience in woodwork and furniture making?
You will be given some examples of interesting furniture, focus on technique and details and some inspiration guidance. You are going to design your furniture/object by starting with making a sketch, fine-tune it with correct measurements and a planning. The teacher, Jan Willem will give you advanced tips and tricks with the electrical saw, the jigsaw, band-sander and milling machine. During this course you will hear some interesting facts about woodworking techniques. (i.e. steam bending, mixing different materials.
You will also learn how to work with veneer and melamine and HPL finishing.
The goal is to have your “dream made out of wood”
