How math becomes art
Heralded in the daily newspaper Tubantia as: "Is he an artist with a talent for mathematics or an artistic mathematician?
Albrecht Dürer (1471- 1528) was the first to show that you could fold a paper 3D-model with a polyhedron. Other inspirations are Leonardo da Vinci and Johannes Kepler with their complex double-layered polyhedra. Visual artist Rinus Roelofs will teach you how to fold these ingenious structures yourself. Sign up for the workshop and create your own mathematical art.
