Workshop on the campuscarillon
Wondering what the tower on the carillonfield is? Or what makes the sounds of bells on campus? The city carillonneurs of Enschede and Oldenzaal will give an introduction about the carillon, including some history, casting of the bells and the mechanics of the (campus)carillon. Followed by explanation on the playing technique and a mini lesson in the studio and the tower itself, which is designed by Gerrit Rietveld. For everyone who's interested in the carillon, would like to learn more about it and have the opportunity to play (no musical experience needed).
This workshop is established in collaboration with Apollo.
