A song is a collaborationbetween text and music. Songwriting is creating a song. In this course, singer-songwriterDidier Leclaire (Kaliber School of Arts) will teach you how to create music andshape stories. You will work on the vocal line and accompaniment on guitar orpiano. The classes will also cover therole contrasts and patterns play in supporting effective, in-depthcommunication.
Each participantwill write their own song during the course and at the end we will present oursongs to each other. The course is suitable for beginners, but if you havewritten songs before and simply want to get better at it, it will also help youa lot. It’s a requirement to be able to play at least a few chords on a musicalinstrument, such as guitar, piano, accordion, harp, etc. You don’t have to be avirtuoso: a good song is just three chords and the truth.
This course is only for employees and students with a valid Union-/Campuscard.
