Vrijhof Culture brings the streets inside!
Graffiti & Street art: even after 50 years an alive and kicking medium. With an evolution that has found its way to the museums and galleries, and thus also to the exhibition rooms of the University of Twente.
Working towards this exhibition, Vrijhof Culture and graffiti artist Dimitri Rafaël brought together a varied group of artists.
The final concept of the exhibition will be one of "work in progress". During the entire period from 6 September to 11 October, the exhibition will be modified, changed, work will be added and on-site work will be created on a number of wooden slabs that will later be transformed into spatial objects.
There will be work by: Pipsqueak was here, Nina Paintina, Xan man, Angst, Herr Eifel, D.A.T and Dimitri Rafaël.
The opening in presence of the artists takes place on Saturday 8 September at 1.00 PM.
Around 2.15 PM the group will leave for Concordia to join the opening of the graffiti exhibition Annex.
