RESULT

In this course you will start your basic knowledge of Italian and you will reach the CEF-level A1. After this training you will have learned enough Italian to have a simple and basic conversation about personal matters. You will also be able to ask and answer simple questions and have a basic conversation like in for instance bars, restaurants and shops. You can follow simple chats about familiar topics. You will also be able to read short and simple texts, like brochures and ads.
Participants receive a certificate after 80% attendance.

CONTENT

This course facilitates your relations with Italian people, prepares your stay at a university in Italy, or is just interesting and for fun.
The practicing of skills is embedded in relevant everyday situations and events with focus on issues like family, housing, study, and travel in Italy.
For this course, a modern learning method with an emphasis on spoken communication will be used.
The start of communicative competences is the central learning objective of this course. Learning from and with each other is essential. Pair and group work therefore play an important role.

DURATION AND TIME INVESTMENT

The course consists of 10 lessons of two hours each, with one session per week. Attendance at every lesson is essential. Homework is expected to take approximately one hour per lesson.
