In this B2C1 conversation course you will have the opportunity to further develop your language use in everyday and current conversations. Participants receive a certificate upon at least 80% attendance.
Content
Would you like to make your Dutch speaking skills stronger, more fluent and more natural? In this course, you will actively work on both speaking and listening skills. Each lesson has a central theme, such as media, society or culture. To prepare, you will listen to a podcast or read a number of articles. This allows you to participate immediately in in-depth discussions during the lesson and express your opinions clearly and confidently.
The weekly lessons focus entirely on practising conversation skills: discussing, summarising, responding to others, adding nuance and formulating your point of view in a natural way. You will receive targeted feedback, expand your vocabulary and learn to communicate more spontaneously and with greater confidence.
This course is suitable for students and staff who already function at B2 level and wish to further develop their spoken Dutch in order to express themselves in a relaxed and convincing way in daily life, at work and in an academic context.
DURATION AND TIME INVESTMENT
Active attendance at is essential. The course consists of 10 weekly lessons of 1.5 hours each. In addition, you should expect to spend approximately one hour per week on preparation
ADMISSION CRITERIA
Admission is based on certificates obtained from previous language courses, in this case, Dutch B2.
