Dutch A2/B1 Dutch Intensive Summer Course - On Campus

Result

In this course, participants will extend their basic knowledge of Dutch, going from CEF-level A2 to A2/B1. Participants receive a certificate after 80% attendance and if the course portfolio is evaluated positively.

Content

This intensive course is an introduction to Dutch language. It covers reading, listening, writing and speaking. Participants will also learn more about Dutch culture and society and an excursion to the Rijksmuseum Twenthe.

Admission is granted based on certificates obtained from earlier language courses, in this case,  Dutch A2, or an intake exam, which you can register for here.

    all (prospective) UT students, PhD-candidates, employees (and their partners) who would like to learn Dutch. Also non-UT participants are very welcome to join the course.

    Roughly equivalent to 2,5 ECTS

    This course will be held from August 3rd till 14th 2026, except the weekend

    09.00 -12.30 hrs.

  • Course fee

    1. UT bachelor and master’s students: €25,-.
    This is a NON-REFUNDABLE AND NOT TRANSFERABLE administration fee, payable at registration. 
    Faculties will pay the full course fee for you.
    2. UT-employees: €625,-
    Faculties and Service departments will pay for you. 
    You need permission from your head of department.
    3. Partners of UT-employees: €625,-
    4. Non-UT participants: €625,-
    Partners and non-UT participants can use internet payment to pay the course fee.

  • Maximum participants

    Minimum 10 and maximum 15 participants per group

  • Trainers

    Qualified teacher of Dutch as a second language

  • Course materials

    Provided by the UT Language Centre: LINK+, Boom uitgevers, ISBN 3009010005668, online digital learning platform, 12 months license

  • Requirements

    Admission is granted based on certificates obtained from earlier language courses, in this case, Dutch A2.
