Presentation Skills Course (PSC-2025-2026)
You will receive 2 ECTS upon completion of this course.

You complete each of the course modules sequentially and prepare the required assignments. Then you sign up for a presentation practice session with an expert trainer after which you receive your PSC course certificate.
You can go through all materials at your own pace.
RESULT
After this course you will be able to:
- Build an attractive and convincing research narrative for your audience,
- Develop strategies to help you overcome a number of presentation challenges,
- Create a professional slide deck to support your take-home message,
- Effectively use research poster design elements and,
- Use your poster to invite discussions and network around your research.
Two online self-paced Nature Masterclasses are integrated in this course.
CONTENT
You will focus on all aspects of scientific presentations:
- Structuring your presentation
- Non-verbal aspects of presentations
- How to include the principles of Ethos – Logos – Pathos
- Dealing with presentation anxiety
- Slide design
- Poster presentations – design and pitch
- Presentation practice
What NOT to expect:
- Extensive in-depth treatment of discipline-specific matters of formatting and presentation
