The Honours Programme is a broad study programme which introduces students to major scientists and scientific practice. The programme (30 EC) starts in February of your first or second year of study and takes a year and a half. The Honours Programme is available for top students of all programmes. After completion of the Honours Programme, students receive the distinction 'graduated with honours' on their certificate.
Would you like to study abroad? You can use the minor (third year) to study at a foreign partner university for a number of months or go abroad for your Bachelor Thesis. Both are curricular activities. Furthermore, several of our partner universities offer summer schools.
For more information regarding the possibilities please check the Study abroad TNW Canvas page.
Are you considering getting two Master's degrees? In consultation with the study advisor (of the Master's) you can use the minor space in the BSc to prepare for both masters and make a study plan.
The minimum requirements for graduating with distinction are outlined in the programme-specific part of the EER.
