This training is relevant for MR technicians, medical physicists and researchers. In daily practice, a large part of the MR examinations are focused on imaging the abdominal organs. One of the challenges of a optimal abdominal MR examination is dealing with the breathing movement that takes place in the abdominal region. The scanning technique used in an abdominal protocol provides several solutions to deal with this breathing movement. Knowledge about how to use these capabilities ensures an optimal image.

The training is a 1-day program including theory and hands-on training. The small group ensures proactive interaction between the participants and trainers. The training will be provided in Dutch on a MAGNETOM Aera system at the TechMed Centre (University of Twente).
