A song is a collaboration between lyrics and music. Songwriting is the creation of a song. In this course you will learn how to create music and shape stories. You'll work on the vocal line and the accompaniment on guitar or piano. The role that contrasts and patterns play in supporting effective, in-depth communication is also part of creating a song.
Each participant will write their own song during the course and at the end you will present your song to each other. The course is suitable for beginners, but if you have written songs before and just want to get better at it, it will also help you a lot.
It is a requirement that you can play at least a few chords on a musical instrument, such as guitar, piano, harp, etc. You don't have to be avirtuoso: a good song consists of just three chords and the truth.
