Scientific Information bootcamp (online)


You are able to search for and manage academic information, making optimal use of current (technological) possibilities, for research and education purposes.


Systematically searching for information, formulating a problem statement, knowledge and choice of (referring, informing) sources, writing references, reference managers and information management, citation indexes, open access publishing and visibility. These subjects are first treated in general, later focused on the particular search strategy of the participant.

    The studyload for this course is equivalent to 0.5 ECTS

  • Date

    This course is offered 4 or 5 times per year and will be given online.

    One day from 09.00 to approx. 16.00 hours.

  • Time

    One plenary session of 6 hours total.  And 6 hours home-study on an online course and writing your own search strategy.

    This training will be paid from central funds.

    Maximum of 50 participants.

  • Requirements

    English language proficiency at level CEF B2 or higher (Common European Framework) is required.
