Assignment Within a larger NWO project (“Serious’) on the security of mobile applications we are looking for a student who wants to participate in a sub-project. Within that sub-project we want to conduct a cross-cultural study in the Netherlands and Pakistan. The topic will be: Mobile risk-perception and privacy of mobile applications in the Netherlands and Pakistan. There is already a concept questionnaire but it needs to be adapted and made relevant in both countries. Important tasks to start with will be: adaptation of the existing questionnaire and data collection in a way that provides comparable data in the two countries. We are thinking of interviewing high school students in both countries. This implies that the questionnaire needs to be translated from English to Dutch. We are looking for one student but of course two will also be fine, as there will be a lot of data coming from this project.
