Education

We emphasise the importance of essential knowledge in the field of circular strategies, society, policy and communication with stakeholders

The transition to a Circular Economy requires an acceleration as global challenges evolve. The traditional take-make-use-dispose understanding has been triggering these challenges which cause pressure on local and global supply chains. Companies, consumers, and governments need to cooperatively take action to be successful. Therefore, in our minor Circular Economy Transition, students will identify the potential for our shared future within a cross-disciplinary education environment.

Responding to the urgent need for sustainable solutions, this minor at UT demonstrates our commitment to promoting knowledge and awareness. It offers a unique opportunity to explore the intricacies of the Circular Economy Transition, positioning students to navigate the complexities of our changing world.

The Circular Economy minor is rooted in our commitment to promoting education for change and is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. It reflects our commitment to partnerships, quality education, affordable and clean energy, industrial innovation, sustainable cities, responsible consumption and production, and climate action.
