PROF. DR. RICHARD J. BOUCHERIE

Full professor of Stochastic Operations Research, co-founder of CHOIR, co-founder of the spin-off company Rhythm, that carries out actual implementations of healthcare logistics solutions, chair of the University of Twente Data Sciene & AI lab, and of the SME Data lab OostNL.

Research interests include data driven optimisation of stochastic processes and healthcare logistics.

Full professor of Healthcare Operations Management, co-founder of CHOIR, co-founder of the spin-off company Rhythm, that carries out actual implementations of healthcare logistics solutions.

Research interests include capacity planning and process optimization in healthcare.

PROF. DR. MISJA MIKKERS

Full professor of Health Systems Engineering. 

Focuses on optimizing the dynamics of healthcare delivery systems by integrating principles from engineering, economics, and healthcare policy to improve healthcare services. Research interests encompass health economics, the theory of incentives and regulation, and causal inference using Bayesian statistics.

DR. AMIN ASADI

Assistant Professor in Operations Research, AI, and Data Science.

Specializes in developing mathematical models and algorithms for sequential decision-making under uncertainty, aimed at improving healthcare operations and logistics, including medical drone delivery, ambulance deployment and dispatch, and clinical decision-making.

DR. IR. GIOVANNI CAMPUZANO

Assistant Professor in Operations Research.

Focuses on developing hybrid metaheuristic and machine-learning algorithms to address blood delivery and vaccine distribution systems in healthcare.
