Below we provide an overview of contact persons if you want to make a booking on the campus. 

UT Booking Office

The Booking Office will arrange everything for you with regard to organizing meetings, symposia, congresses, cultural events, sports activities, overnight accommodation in the cabins and other activities on the university campus which require booking of a space. The Booking Office offers various types of services. The entire process of booking a space through to the invoicing at the end is supported by our staff.

Student Union (Bastille building)

The Student Union manages the Bastille student building, which also contains several facilities that can be booked such as the Atrium. For more information see the StudentUnion website. 

Sports Centre

The Sports Centre has a large number of halls and other sports facilities, both indoor and outdoor. These include a large climbing wall and indoor and outdoor swimming pools. You’ll find an overview of available accommodation, the current hall and room timetables and contact details at Sports Centre Service Desk: telephone 053 489 8001.

Other organizations

The following organizations are not part of the UT, but they are housed on the campus and they may be able to assist you with a booking or event.

Drienerburght (soon te be renamed: U-park hotel

Hotel Drienerburght is situated in the heart of the campus and not only offers overnight accommodation but also a range of meeting rooms and catering facilities. Drienerburght will soon be moving to the Hogekamp Building, the former faculty building of Electrical Engineering and Applied Physics. After the move, Drienerburght will continue under the name UPark Hotel. For more information go to


The gallery

The Gallery (part of BTC Twente) is a centre for entrepreneurs and is housed on the campus. The Gallery offers meeting and catering facilities, and is directly accessible from Hengelosestraat. For more information go to the BTC Twente website.

Congresassociatie Twente (CAT)

CongresAssociatie Twente (CAT) has been a professional partner for organizing congresses and symposia since 1987. CAT will handle the complete organization of your event for you. For more information go to
