The studio apartments will be based on the university’s short stay principle. International students will be able to stay for a maximum of 1 year. If you would like to stay for longer, there is an option of renting through Camelot after 1 year. The new apartments are part of the Hogekamp building, in which there is also a new conference hotel, called the U Parkhotel, with 72 hotel rooms and conference rooms. The Hogekamp building is part of the University of Twente campus and is has been renovated by the Camelot Europe housing organisation with sustainability in mind.
The studio apartments are energy efficient, fully furnished and are fully set up with a kitchen and bathroom. The property itself features various facilities such as, game rooms, a lounge room, a cinema, study rooms and a concierge. There is also a roof terrace which has a great view of Enschede and Hengelo, as well as storage and parking options at an additional cost.
