The official release of the University of Twente Campus app took place during the Opening Academic Year.
The Campus app was created for everyone on campus. The app can guide you to appointments, the nearest parking spots or other interesting locations on campus. Additionally, the Campus app can be used to stay up-to-date about interesting events taking place on campus and getting in touch with other campus visitors through the message board.
The Campus app was first successfully tested in a closed test group during the CuriousU Summer School. Participants received an email invitation before the start of the summer school with instructions on where to download the Campus app and how to access their personal CuriousU programme. The user feedback gathered during CuriousU was used to improve the app in preparation for the public release.
