This page explains the requirements students have to meet before they can participate in the conference to conclude the Bachelor Research Assignment (module 12).
Requirements to register for the conference:
Upon registration for the conference, the student must have passed 60 EC from modules 1 - 4 and at least 53.5 EC from modules 5 - 8.
Note: Writing the proposal for the BSc assignment is possible in Q3 (AR&S in module 11) or in Q1 (ARS in pre-master, entrance has to be requested via the study adviser). The execution of the BSc assignment research cannot start before the proposal is graded with a pass. Students are recommended to plan the execution of their BSc assignment research in a consecutive time period of 10 weeks full-time prior to one of the BSc conferences. The conferences are held in early July, end of August and end of January. Conference registration two and a half weeks before the conference date is mandatory and should be approved by the supervisor.
All other students may not participate in the conference unless they have been granted an exemption by the Mechanical Engineering Examination Board based upon a study plan approved by the study advisor, i.e. in case of excessive study delay.
