Request Examination Board ME-SET

This form is intended for requests to the Examination Board SET-ME (EB) by bachelor students Mechanical Engineering from the UT or VU program.

Please note: 

• This form cannot be used to appeal against a decision of the EB. Appeals to decisions of the EB should be submitted to the Board of Appeal for Examinations (CBE) within 6 weeks after the decision.
• This form is only used for requests. To file a complaint —for example objection to an exam grade, late submission of grade, missing exam review— please use the complaint form.
• Requests submitted at least two weeks in advance will be discussed in the following regular EB meeting. The meeting schedule and submission deadlines can be found here.

Note:

• Request for cum laude is handled by the programme board, please contact them via: bachelorcoordinator-me@utwente.nl
• Request regarding the Bachelor assignment Conference must be made to the study advisers, please contact your study adviser (note: the study adviser will make the decision in consultation with the Examination Board).

You have selected that you are not a bachelor's student Mechanical Engineering UT or VU. If you still want to make a request to the EB, please send an email containing your request to: examinationboard-set-me@utwente.nl. As subject of the email, please use: "Non-ME student"

Note: The Examination Board SET-ME (EB) only processes requests that have been previously discussed with the study adviser. Please include proof of your communication with the study adviser at the final step of this request.

Required information

Make sure to send all relevant information with your request. The documentation to support your request must at least include your Study Progress Overview. Other documentation might include email correspondence with your study-advisor/supervisor/bachelor coordinator etc. Incomplete request (missing documentations) will not be taken into account. Documents sent in different formats than PDF will not be taken into consideration.
