NPuls getConnected grant for BMS LAB and ITC Geoversity — Empowering Learning Through Shared and Open Resources
BMS and ITC have been awarded an Npuls grant to develop ShareXR — a dynamic ecosystem for sharing and reusing high-quality, open digital learning resources. The goal is to make interdisciplinary educational materials more accessible, adaptable, and engaging for educators across all fields.
There’s currently a lack of connected, well-described, and reusable teaching materials that support modern, challenge-based learning. ShareXR fills this gap by offering complete educational packages — not just raw content, but ready-to-use tutorials, lesson plans, slides, and theory — all designed for seamless reuse and adaptation.
ShareXR is built on a robust technical foundation, integrating tools like ShareControl, Edusources, and SurfSharekit to create a living network of resources that are openly available, continuously improved, and easy to integrate into any curriculum.
By connecting initiatives from the University of Twente with national platforms, ShareXR empowers educators to innovate and students to engage in interdisciplinary, hands-on learning. It supports lifelong learning by making educational content both open and actionable.
At its core, ShareXR is about openness, quality, and community. It invites educators, students, and institutions to co-create and shape the future of education — together.
