Ernst Bohlmeijer, professor in mental health promotion at the University of Twente wrote the book Compassie als sleutel tot geluk. Voorbij stress en zelfkritiek in collaboration with Monique Hulsbergen. This book is based on Compassion Focused Therapy and is introduced by Paul Gilbert. The self-help book is meant for people with chronic stress, anxiety or emotional exhaustion. It can be implemented as guided self-help by therapists and counsellors.
