Niels Pulles is an assistant professor in the field of strategic supply management at the University of Twente. He received his MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of Twente and defended his PhD dissertation “the competition for supplier resources” September 2014.

In the International Business Administration (IBA) curriculum, Niels lectures and coordinates the Business Operations Management module and is involved in the development and teaching of the Supply Management elective. In the Business Administration (BA) master, Niels lectures on Purchasing Strategy and Systems. For the Industrial Engineering and Management program, he lectures on Operations Strategy (bachelor) and New Production Concepts (master). Next to this, Niels supervises theses of bachelor and master students and supervises several PhD students.
In the past Niels lectured on innovation management in the IBA course Technology Development and Production, joined the Study Tour “Brasilisation” to Brasil, and taught tutorials in the Business Research Methods course.
Niels received the 2016 IBA/BA teacher of the year award.
