AI is affecting education across all areas of teaching and learning. Since 2025, the BMS AI in Education Community has provided a space for teachers, programme management, and students to come together, exchange experiences and perspectives, and collectively explore how AI is shaping education.
Who is it for?
Join the community if:
- You have an educational innovation related to AI to share. It could be some assessments you redesigned to make them AI-proof, some scaffolds you built into your teaching to make students more responsible for AI use, or some ways you use AI tools to enhance teaching and learning.
- You have a problem / question / idea that you would like to discuss with the community as a sounding board.
- You would like to join in the discussion and learn from the experiences and ideas shared.
Meeting calendar 2026–27
The community meets once a month on Monday during the lunch break (12:30–13:30). Meetings revolve around input from one-two participants. Community meetings for the a.y. 2026-27 are planned on:

How to join?
To join the community, sign up through the form below. Please only register if you are able to attend most sessions, as the community relies on continuity and active participation. Due to the interactive nature of the sessions and room capacity, meetings are in person only.

Would you like to share an experience, idea, challenge, or resource with the community? Add your name and a brief description of your contribution to this form.
Contributions can take many forms, for example:
- an example of a successful educational redesign;
- a problem or challenge you have encountered;
- a teaching or assessment idea you would like to explore;
- an article, study, or resource that inspired you.
