Organised by the twente health school.

May 18–20, 2026 | DesignLab, University of Twente

The Twente Health School invites PhD students and early-career researchers to explore how technology, data, and society intersect in shaping the future of health. Over three days, participants will experience the full journey of a health project:

  • Day 1 – Health Systems, Technology & Society: exploring how innovations shape healthcare, understanding policy and impact.
  • Day 2 – New Frontiers in Data, AI & Health: engaging with hands-on methods, case studies, and interactive workshops on emerging approaches in computational and data-driven health.
  • Day 3 – Implementation, Evaluation & Responsible Practice: examining human factors, systems engineering, health technology assessment, and the ethical dimensions of responsible AI.

Through a mix of keynotes, workshops, case studies, and PhD presentations, Shaping the future of health offers both scientific depth and practical skills. Beyond learning, it provides a unique environment to connect with peers and experts, fostering collaboration across disciplines and institutions.
