Endnote licence will end on 31 December 2025 Zotero is now the university's supported reference manager

All Zotero accounts registered with a @utwente.nl or @student.utwente.nl email address have unlimited cloud storage for adding full-text references. 

We are transitioning our officially supported reference manager from EndNote to Zotero. Our campus-wide Zotero licence activates on September 1st, 2025. The EndNote licence will end on December 31st, 2025, ensuring a multi-month transition period. 

Once the EndNote licence ends, you will no longer be able to install EndNote, add new references nor have an online backup or cloud service access. Therefore, we strongly recommend to switch to Zotero.  

We encourage all staff and students to migrate their reference libraries in the coming months. You can find a Getting Started guide here, both as a short video and as a textual step-by-step guide.
