The UT is transitioning to Crowdtech as the new platform for surveys and online research. To help you prepare, UT Survey Support, together with Crowdtech, is organizing a practical hands-on session specifically for BMS researchers.
During this session, you can bring your own Qualtrics survey, practice using Crowdtech, and receive direct support from experts. Discover what already works well — and where we may still need improvements or new features. Tuesday 18 November, 09:30-12:30 (flexible entrance), location: tba, but near your workplace. Open to all researchers and supervisors using surveys in their research or teaching projects. Be well-prepared for the transition – register now!
Invitation: BMS Crowdtech Hands-on Session
As earlier communicated, the University of Twente has introduced Crowdtech as the new survey platform. This means that in the coming period, we will gradually transition from Qualtrics to Crowdtech. To ensure this transition goes smoothly, we need to explore together whether our current research workflows can be effectively supported in Crowdtech. What already works well? Where do we encounter limitations or missing functionalities?
Although Qualtrics will remain available until October 2026, it is important to assess as soon as possible whether Crowdtech fully meets our research and teaching needs. If certain functionalities are lacking, we want to have a clear overview early enough to discuss possible solutions or license extensions.
Dedicated BMS Support
Because the transition is substantial for BMS, UT Survey Support is organizing dedicated BMS hands-on sessions together with Crowdtech specifically for our researchers.
During these sessions, you can:
- Share your existing Qualtrics surveys in advance,
- Receive practical guidance on translating them into Crowdtech,
- Test key features directly in the new platform.
We strongly encourage all researchers (and supervisors of student projects) to participate. This is the best opportunity to ensure your current and future research can continue seamlessly after 2026.
Upcoming TRAINING Session:
Date: Tuesday, 18 November, 09:30 to 12:30, including a 30-minute flexible period for early arrival and wrap-up.
Location: Langezijds (BMS Lab) 2516.
For this training, we invite you to share your Qualtrics survey with us in advance via the upload option in the registration link.
During this hands-on session, you’ll learn how to input your survey into Crowdtech. The Crowdtech trainers will demonstrate how to enter more complex questions. Also, you'll have the chance to input your own Qualtrics survey directly, with expert assistance on-site. This is a great opportunity to transfer your survey into the new system efficiently. Crowdtech trainers will demonstrate features based on what is shared by attendees in advance.
Open to: all researchers and staff who regularly conduct surveys/ online research in Qualtrics
👉 Ready to get started?
