The Netherlands eScience Center is proud to announce our partnership with ODISSEI, as we invite social science researchers to submit research proposals for consideration.
Through this call we aim to support researchers in the social sciences who need expertise in applying or developing digital technologies and research software.
Following a review process, each of six awarded projects will be offered in-kind support from the eScience Center, in the form of research software engineers collaborating on the project for three person months.
A virtual information event will be held on 10 June 2021 at 14:00 - 16:00, details of which can be found below.

FREE WORKSHOP: Software Carpentry with R
The Netherlands eScience Center is organizing another free Software Carpentry Workshop for researchers based in The Netherlands.
In this hands-on, interactive online event, you will learn how to use the Unix command line. Participants will also learn how to keep track of work and collaborate with peers using Git version control and the GitHub platform. The third part of the workshop will dive into analyzing and visualizing research results with the R programming language and RStudio environment.
