Nadine Köhle graduated in Health Psychology at the University of Twente in 2011. After her graduation she worked as a lecturer at the University of Amsterdam. In 2012, she started her PhD-project at the University of Twente at the department Psychology, Health & Technology and in 2016 she received her PhD for her thesis ‘Hold on, for each other: Supporting partners of cancer patients via eHealth and positive psychology’ ( Her research interests are mainly on:

  • Positive psychology and technology
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness and self-compassion
  • eHealth: the use of Information & Communication Technology to improve healthcare
  • Co-creation: the involvement of end-users in every stage of the development, design and testing of an intervention
  • Partners of cancer patients/ informal caregivers
