Dutch profile

Teuntje Elfrink studied psychology at the University of Twente (main subject: Mental Health Promotion). Both her bachelor’s and her master’s thesis was about the intervention Op Verhaal Komen (resp. quantitative and qualitative/narrative). After graduation she worked for the department of Psychology, Health and Technology (PHT): she was involved in the online intervention of Op Verhaal Komen and the course psychodiagnostics.

During graduation she was a trainee at Tactus Verslavingszorg (an institution in the treatment of addiction) and after graduation she could combine the job at the University with a job there. After the completion of the work for the UT, she went to work full time for Tactus, where she also worked as a therapist.

Teuntje is now working as a junior researcher at the department of PHT and engages in (the process evaluation of) the Positive Education Program.
