Dr. Adam Henschke, Assistant Professor at the Philosophy Section of the University of Twente, gave a keynote at the UT EEMCS Networking event on 30th September, on the ethical and social challenges arising from modern cyber-physical systems, From Medicine To Smart Cities: Confusion, Complexity, And Ethical Challenges for EEMCS.
The talk looked at ethical challenges for people working in electrical engineering, mathematics, and computer science, and looked at the ethical, social, political and national security challenges for cyber-physical systems in smart homes, smart cars, and smart cities.
