April 2015 I graduated cum laude from the University of Twente for my master’s degree in Psychology, specialization Conflict, Risk and Safety. During my master thesis I examined age differences in connectedness with the future self (the extent to which people feel their future self will be the same person as they are now, with the same personality, interests, goals and beliefs) and whether this could (partially) explain the age-crime curve.

Research projects

Currently I am working on a project which evaluates prison-based courses focused on restorative justice. This research is conducted in cooperation with Dr. S. Zebel and Dr. E. G. Ufkes, on behalf of the Research and Documentation Centre (WODC) of the Dutch Ministry of Justice.
