In May of 2014 I obtained my bachelors in psychology from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow. I am now currently working on my honours and dissertation for my 4th year of psychology.
In June of 2014 I came to the University of Twente to do a summer internship in the psychology department of Risk, Conflict and Safety where I worked on 3 supervised topics. My first topic was on Community Policing where I, along with another Student from Scotland, worked on and prepared a literature review on Citizenship and the role it plays within Community Policing. This was supervised by Dr. Ellen Giebels. I am currently working on the second project which is centralized on Victim-Offender Mediation and Perspective Taking of Offenders. This project requires extensive work with SPSS and obtaining further analyses to get a better understanding of why people take certain perspectives from out-group/in-group offenders. This project is supervised by Dr. Sven Zebel. The third and final project I will work on is supervised by Dr. Elze Ufkes, and will be based on an inventory of technological means for Social psychology.
