In 2014 I started studying Psychology at the University of Strathclyde. I am still an undergraduate student and I just finished my third year. I am happy to say that I graduated with merit. During my time at the University of Strathclyde I engaged in research for topics such as fear of missing out and mental rotation. As a part of the department of Conflict, Risk and Safety in the University of Twente, I work in a team on the topic of deception in social media. Our study is concerned with the amount of emoticons used in truthful versus untruthful conversation.
Furthermore, I am interested in artificial intelligence, cognitive psychology and neuroscience. I am sure that the time I will spend in the University of Twente will serve me as a solid foundation on which I will build my future as a psychologist.
