General information

Radu-Mihai Triculescu (1989) is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellow conducting his research at the University of Twente as part of a project looking at the Post-Crisis Legitimacy of the European Union (PLATO). PLATO is a European network of leading research universities and professionals from policy advice, consulting and civil society sectors. The innovative programme trains PhD researchers to contribute to solving key policy issues for Europe. Specifically, Radu’s work focuses on the bureaucracy of asylum seekers in the European Union. His project is supervised by Dr. Ramses Wessel, Dr. Bas Denters, and Dr. Claudio Matera from the section Public Administration at the University of Twente, and by Dr. Johannes Pollak from the Vienna Institute for Advanced Studies.

Radu holds a Master Degree in International Affairs from Florida State University (2013), and a Joint Master in International Migration and Social Cohesion from the University of Amsterdam, Universidad de Deusto, and Osnabruck University (2015). He completed his Bachelor studies in Political Science and International Affairs at Florida State University (Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa, 2011).
