Annika Jaansoo (1977) completed her double PhD in May 2019 (Economics in University of Tartu, Estonia; Public Administration in the University of Twente, in the Netherlands). Her PhD thesis investigated factors that influenced cross-border public service provision in Europe. Her current research focuses on subnational cross-border cooperation in general and cross-border cooperation in service provision in particular. She is also interested in EU Cohesion Policy and its territorial impacts.

In addition to teaching and research in university level, dr Annika Jaansoo is involved in wide range of consulting and research projects at national and international level.
