Professor in Innovation and Regional Governance
Prof. dr. Marcel Boogers holds a chair in Innovation and Regional Governance. His research focusses on the structure of and dynamics within networks of local and regional governments, production and service industries, higher education institutes and other third sector organizations. He studied Political Science at Radboud University Nijmegen, where he later defended a PhD thesis about public support for regional governance. Between 1997 and 2012, he worked as associate professor at Tilburg University. Marcel is member of the editorial board of the Dutch PA journal Bestuurswetenschappen.
Boogers combines his position at the PA department with a position as senior advisor at consultancy firm BMC.
