general information

Elisa van der Plas (1994) is a decision neuroscientist investigating the neural basis of political behaviour. Her collaboration project is supervised by Dr. Martin Rosema and Dr. Giedo Jansen from the Public Administration Department at Twente University, and Prof. Dr. Alan Sanfey from Donders Institute for Neuroimaging at Radboud University. Her current project aims at understanding how and when positive political attitudes are triggered by negative emotions, such as fearful messages about societal issues.

Elisa holds a master in Brain and Cognitive Science from the University of Amsterdam. As part of this program she worked with Dr. Molly Crockett at the University of Oxford on the computational basis of moral devaluation.
