Minsi Li (1992) is a PhD researcher conducting her research at the University of Twente. Minsi studies Chinese government crisis communication with the public on social media. She studies how the Chinese government release information during a crisis on social media with content analysis and framing analysis. She also studies how the public react to the information with social network analysis and Chinese natural language processing. Minsi’s research is supervised by Prof. Rene Torenvlied, Prof. Ariana Need from the Department of Public Administration at the University of Twente.
Minsi graduated Public Management from the University of Science and Technology of China and holds a Master’s Degree in Management (2016). She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration at Anhui University in China (2014).
