About ORAHS

ORAHS is the EURO Working Group on Operational Research Applied to Health Services. It was formed in 1975 as a special interest group in EURO, providing a network for researchers involved in the application of systematic and quantitative analysis in support of planning and management in the health services sector.

Traditionally the group meets every summer, for one week, in a different European host country (and occasionally outside of Europe). Meetings, like those in EURO, are open to anyone with a quantitative background and those who have interest in the subject area. A well-developed social program gives good opportunities for informal discussions and friendly get-togethers with members and accompanying families.
