Information and Guidelines for Registration

Registration submission

Connect to the ORAHS 2012 website, click on Registration and then on the Register button. Fill in the fields with the appropriate information and click on Submit.

Registration category

Click on the appropriate radio button corresponding to your status. The registration fee will be filled automatically according to your status (see registration fees).


Students are required to send a proof of their status (e.g. a signed statement from their Department Head or supervisor to the registration secretariat). This document should be attached if you register.

Means of payment

The recommended means of payment is by credit card (Visa/Eurocard/Mastercard or AMEX). The registration secretariat has subcontracted payment by credit card to a secure payment service that guarantees confidentiality and security. Dutch participants can also pay per bank through Ideal. Please double check that all information is correct, especially your e-mail address.


You will receive immediately an e-mail of your registration data (username and password). A confirmation will be send per e-mail within a few minutes. Your registration number (ORAHS 2012 - nr.) is mentioned on this confirmation; you will need this for all correspondence with the conference secretariat.

Registration editing

Once you registered you can always view or edit your registration data by choosing the Login button.

Supporting documents

All requests should be send to the registration secretariat.

Letter of Invitation

A letter of invitation can be obtained after your registration process has been completed. Contact the conference secretariat with your request. The letter will be send to you by e-mail as a PDF file.

Certificate of attendance

Certificates of attendance will be issued at the registration desk.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation requests and changes in the conference registration must be made in writing and emailed to CAT (CongresAssociatie Twente). For registration cancellation, pre-paid registration fees are refundable less 30%, if notification of cancellation is received in writing (by email) before May 31 2012. Cancellation after May 31 2012 will result in forfeiture of the registration fee; however, a substitute registrant will be accepted.


As the organization is non-profit there is no VAT number available. Taxes are included in the fee and will not be mentioned.
