BACKGROUND

Harm-Jan Steenhuis is a researcher for NIKOS at the University of Twente, the Netherlands and an associate professor of operations management and chair of the Department of Management at Eastern Washington University, USA. He received his MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management and his PhD in International Technology Transfer from the University of Twente, the Netherlands. He is currently involved in research on international technology transfer, industry-university technology transfer, instructor-student knowledge transfer, international operations/manufacturing and research on the aircraft manufacturing industry.
