Tamara Oukes is an PhD student at the Dutch Institute for Knowledge Intensive Entrepreneurship (NIKOS). For her PhD research she investigates the relationship between simultaneous power asymmetry and diversity of project partners and the innovation performance of the R&D projects of small and medium-sized firms. The second part of the research involves how small and medium-sized enterprises can cope with asymmetrical power relationships in a portfolio of diverse partners. The study is supported by an European project, called PCDIAB, funded by the European Commission under the 7th framework program. Her dissertation advisor is prof. dr. Aard Groen.
Before she was offered a PhD position, Tamara obtained a BSc. and MSc in business administration at the University of Twente. The latter was part of a double degree master in collaboration with the Technical University in Berlin. Here she obtained the master innovation management and entrepreneurship.
