Khrisna Ariyanto Manuhutu (Ari) is a PhD Student at NIKOS Department, University of Twente. He investigates the impact of bounded rationality, either in space or time, that may bias the firms’ analysis and trap them to either high or low embeddedness which may further lead to poor innovation performance. He utilizes agent-based modeling to simulate the emergence of the phenomenon through interaction among firms over space and time.
Before starting his PhD program, he worked as an academic assistant at Decision Making and Strategic Negotiation Group, School of Business and Management, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Indonesia. He holds a bachelor degree on Material Engineering Department and master degree from Industrial Engineering Department, both from the ITB. He also holds master degree from Computer Science Department, Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT), Japan.
