Natalie den Engelse is a doctoral candidate at the Dutch Institute for Knowledge Intensive Entrepreneurship (NIKOS). For her PhD research she investigates how new ventures can make use of social media, in particular for marketing purposes. She will conduct a substantial part of her empirical research in the VentureLab Twente: NIKOS’ incubator for high-tech high-growth companies. Her dissertation advisor is prof. dr. Aard Groen.
Natalie obtained a BSc in Communication Studies and an MSc in Business Administration (Service Management track), both from the University of Twente. Before she was offered a PhD position, she worked as an account manager for Samsung Electronics.
