HTSF Conference 2016

We are pleased to provide details of the 2016 High Technology Small Firms (HTSF) Conference which will be hosted in Liverpool by the University of Liverpool, from

JUNE 13 – 15, 2016

A full day doctoral colloquium will take place on 13th June, with masterclasses on quantitative and qualitative research methods and writing for publication, as well as opportunities for doctoral students to present their work and get detailed feedback from established academics.

The main conference will take place on 14 & 15 June.

Call for Papers
On behalf of the academic conference committee Aard Groen (University of Groningen & University of Twente), Peter van der Sijde (VU-Amsterdam), Gary Cook (University of Liverpool) and local organisers Ossie Jones and Dilani Jayawarna (University of Liverpool), this is an invitation to you to present your work at the HTSF conference 2016.

Submission Details
This Conference will accept papers on themes relevant to technology entrepreneurship, business creation and growth, entrepreneurial ecosystems, social entrepreneurship and university-industry collaboration, entrepreneurship education, product and process innovation.

Please let us know whether your paper is a working paper or a competitive paper (almost) ready for publication.

Papers for the main conference will be selected by peer review of an abstract.  Abstracts must be submitted before 15th February 2016, and full papers must be submitted by 13th of May 2016 if you want to compete in the best paper awards (best research paper and best practical paper, best young researcher paper). All papers are to be presented at the seminar (20 minutes, plus 10 minutes for questions and discussion). All papers presented will be considered for one or more special issues of the journals present (download Call for Papers below).

For both days, the conference fee for early birds is £295 (before 15th April) and £325 after that date for main conference and £190 for all 3 days for doctoral delegates.
